  • Part- or full-time IT administration for a wide range of different systems

  • Setting up and maintaining Linux-based servers including small HPC clusters
  • Maintaining and extending our CI infrastructure
  • Maintaining our container-based build toolchain
  • Administrate a small Windows-based network
  • Contribute to our cloud solutions (AWS, Azure)
  • Select hardware purchases
  • 1st level, customer-facing technical support
  • IT support within our company, both for Linux and Windows systems



  • 3+ years of experience as system administrator of Linux- and Windows systems
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker, podman)
  • Programming languages: bash, batch or powershell, Python
  • Web technologies (HTML, CSS, NodeJS)
  • Experience managing networks (routing, firewalls, …)
  • Willingness to travel sporadically
  • Fluent English
  • Dedicated team player


Additional useful skills

  • Experience with HPC clusters, Infiniband, parallel filesystems, etc.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with IaC (ansible, terraform)
  • Experience with network security and authentication
  • Basic knowledge of C/C++ or building C/C++ software
  • Experience with packaging software (Linux, Windows)

Job Description

You will be working in an international, small to medium-sized company in the realm of high-performance computing done on-premise and in the cloud (AWS, Azure). You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining workstations, servers and cloud instances with the freedom to choose the tools for creating innovative technical solutions. This extends to development topics like improving our CI services. In your daily work, you will work closely together with domain experts and developers from our team, and you will also get in touch with our customers to support them with installations.
