In the one-day seminar we will cover the basic concepts behind prestack seismic data analysis and demystify the world of Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) interpretation through a combination of presentations and hands-on exercises.

Dave holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geophysical Sciences from the University of Southampton and an M.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of Durham. He spent 28 years working in geophysical interpretation and technical management roles for operating oil companies based in NW Europe, North America and SE Asia, covering the full upstream value chain from exploration through to production.
For the last five years, Dave has been working for Sharp Reflections, providing software and workflow solutions in the fields of Big Data prestack seismic analysis and quantitative interpretation to companies across the globe.
