Panel Discussion Topic:
Interoperability vs Integration
In this session, we explore “end-to-end” subsurface workflows. The range of possibilities ranges from a monolithic integrated software solution (the route that Petrel opted for) to interoperable “best-in-class” software solutions.
The keynotes cover examples where end-to-end workflows “unlock value”; discuss practical challenges where applications of “end-to-end” workflows run into challenges – this includes people, software, technology, and timing; and explore the value proposition of “light workflows” (or loosely coupled workflows) vs “deep workflows” (or closely coupled workflows).
