Full-time Geophysicist to be part of our expanding Asian team in Malaysia

We seek a skilled geophysicist to be based in Malaysia, working closely with our local partner ONYX iES. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a multi-faceted role, covering reservoir characterization projects, training delivery and technical sales support. You will be Sharp Reflections’ first Asia-based service team geophysicist and therefore fill a role where you real can make an impact.

Your Style

You are an energetic individual who is passionate about geophysics, and a proactive and dedicated individual looking to make a significant impact in the field of seismic data analysis.

Your Responsibilities

Services work:

$

Engage with clients across Asia Pacific region to understand their geophysical needs and challenges

$

Scope, execute and deliver software-focused, seismic reservoir characterization (SRC) services projects not only in your regions but as part of a growing international team

$

Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, understand their technical needs and ensure their satisfaction, resulting in a growth of services and software activity

 

Training:

$

Assist in developing and delivering technical software training to our customers and potential customers in the region. This extends to technical seminars and workshops.

 

Technical sales support:

$

Provide technical expertise to support the sales team in client interactions

$

Contribute to proposal development and presentations

$

Communicate the technical features and advantages of Sharp Reflections’ products and services to technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Your Qualifications

$

Bachelor’s in geophysics, geology or a related field

$

At least 3 years’ experience with an operating company or a major services company

$

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

$

Excellent communication and presentation abilities

$

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

$

Primarily, you are results-driven and able to craft and deliver great solutions
