We are seeks an full-time energetic, early career salesperson to join our growing commercial team. You will play a key part in expanding the user base for our transformational technology solutions, particularly within oil and gas production teams. Engaging with existing and potential customers in Norway and UK will be a primary focus, but opportunities abound with energy companies across Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Your Style

You have a tenacious attitude and a talent for listening—really listening—to customer problems. You’re not looking for quick fixes. Aided by your own industry experience, you are interested in probing, and asking pertinent questions so you truly understand the operational and business challenges facing your client’s geophysicists and managers. Then, reaching into our comprehensive software and services offering, you will identify solutions that transform the performance of the entire client team. You’ll be part of a collaborative, extended sales network, but you are highly motivated to work autonomously. After initial training, you will have your own accounts and will be responsible for their success, ensuring company targets are met.

Your Responsibilities

You will help …

Create and maintain relationships with current and potential customers

$

Identify new opportunities through market and client analysis, leveraging your professional network and communicating with existing and potential customers

$

Capture and maintain sales opportunities in our Salesforce CRM system, along with customer, market and competitor intelligence

$

Convert new business opportunities into sales by finding flexible software and services solutions

$

Create quotes and proposals for new and renewing licenses

$

Maintain and present your scorecard at fortnightly Sales meetings

$

Deliver a revenue stream in line with annual budgets

$

Your Qualifications

$

Formal sales training 

$

Minimum of five years’ sales experience in the oil and gas industry with proven track record of success 

$

Ability to understand contracts, tenders and procurement systems

$

Excellent negotiation skills

$

Diligence in reporting sales activity and forecasts to management

$

Demonstrated collaborative, energetic, proactive and entrepreneurial approach

$

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and build trusted relationships internally and externally

$

Working knowledge and experience with CRM systems, experience with Salesforce is an advantage

$

Clear and compelling written and verbal communication in English
