We seek a results-driven and experienced geophysicist looking to take your career to the next level. You are someone who can help Sharp Reflections develop creative and compelling service offerings. By merging your experience and our software technology, you will help oil and gas operators interrogate large amounts of data and improve its reliability, identify new drilling opportunities, and avoid unnecessary business risk.

We are looking for customer-oriented, energetic problem solver. As an independent, creative thinker, you know when to seek guidance from peers. You’ll join an integrated amplitude interpretation team, become part of a global team of geophysical experts, and use state-of-the-art high-performance software tools. You are customer oriented, energetic and a creative problem solver who appreciates the impact that data quality makes on analytical results. You’ll always have the client’s best interests in mind.

Your Responsibilities

You will help deliver exemplary technical services and help fulfill our goal of being a strategic partner to our clients. In this role, you will

$

Scope and deliver bespoke projects based on seismic data conditioning, amplitude interpretation, and quantitative interpretation (QI), working closely with your clients

$

Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and provide innovative solutions

$

Collaborate with colleagues in a single, global team to develop innovative ways to analyze and interpret geophysical data efficiently and effectively

$

Stay current with industry trends, technologies and best practices

Your Qualifications

$

Minimum of 5 years experience in geophysics, with a focus on seismic processing, amplitude interpretation, or QI

$

Bachelor’s or higher degree in geophysics or a closely related field

$

Proven experience working with major seismic services companies or operators

$

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

$

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
